Our goal is to create a Pokémon League that better represents the league system found in the video games in real life. We have organized Gym Leaders who use mono-type teams that people can challenge for amazing unique badges for the Washington DC region. Do you think that you have what it takes to take down our Gym Leaders and collect all the badges?
How to Get Involved: The easiest way is to join the Facebook Group or our Discord. We will send monthly invites to our various events there. Also, it is a great place to meet the amazing community that we have had the pleasure of being involved with. You can also check the Schedule page on this site for future events.
These events are almost all adult focused and held in bars within the Washington DC (and potentially DMV) area and as such are only available for people over the age of 21. Although, we do encourage trainers of all skill levels to come out and play! Battles for tournaments and Gym Battle challenges will be held on the Nintendo Switch system.
We have also been organizing tournament play within the DMV area. Once we have enough people willing to enter, tournaments will be hosted and points will be tallied at 3 tournaments per year to crown a Washington DC Pokémon Champion.

Do you wanna be the very best? Dare we even say, like no one ever was? Well come and face your real test at the Portable Kaiju Suber Battle League. All our battles will be held in Pokémon Champions; where challengers will assemble a squad of ten Pokémon to take on our Gym Leaders in thrilling 4v4 double battles. After obtaining eight or more badges you can try your best against our grueling Elite Four to earn your rightful place in our Champions’ Tournament. Finally, on Sunday of the Convention all qualifying champions will face off with their 6 strongest Pokémon in a winner take all fight to see who truly is the Very Best. Participation is free with an Otakon Badge and open to anyone with a copy of Pokémon Champions (Switch or Mobile) and the fighting spirit of true Pokémon Master.
